bad service

Exclusively unprepared for the launch huh?

It seems the sentiments of Exclusive Books to the committal to 'service and value' for its customers has been turned on its head!

Especially the statements made by the Marketing Manager, Batya Green Bricker, "We believe in rewarding our customers by adding value rather than by undercutting our competitors; We are committed to nurturing a love of reading in children and with this in mind we have chosen to enrich the launch of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for our customers, by hosting a series parties across South Africa that bring the books to life and celebrate the event in style."

Now, I'm not sure of how much less impressed I'd be with Exclusive Books if I had gone to collect my book at 1:01am on Saturday morning only to find out that my pre-booked book had been handed to someone else!

Magical Mayhem at Harry Potter Book Launch

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows launch mobWhat I anticipated as a night of light hearted fun turned to utter agony and sheer disappointment due to lack of planning and misleading marketing by Exclusive Books Montecasino. I was at the end of my thither when I picked up my handbag and stormed out of the rather boring remnants of a launch at 00:30 in the dusk of morning.

1Time, and ONE Time Only!

I have done quite a bit of travelling using airlines in South Africa due to the nature of my studies and nowadays for leisure too. I have not experienced such terrible and horrific service as I have had with 1Time Airlines .

I booked my celebratory birthday holiday in Cape Town over four months ago and decided to take up flying with 1Time Airlines because I found them reliable and efficient. However, tonight has proved a true testament to my patience and along with the really atrocious service offered by the Airports Company of South Africa in running OR Thambo Airport, 1Time Airlines has followed suit in the bad rappotoire that our airlines services have been slowly wracking up over the years.  read more here »

Please don’t waste My Time

Customer service is South Africa has taken on a life of its own; it’s become that uncomfortable situation that all people see and are part of, but the one that we’re willing to let rest because we so-called ‘can do nothing about it’.  read more here »
